2022-02-24

Malaysian badminton ace Lee Zii Jia, ranked seventh in the world, is coming back to the VICTOR Family! The Malaysian top badminton men’s singles player now officially joins VICTOR after his declaration to play as an independent player. Lee will be donning his familiar VICTOR apparel and gear from German Open in March.

Lee used to play with VICTOR when he was in the Malaysian National Team. Now turning independently, Lee expressed that VICTOR has always been his top choice. “What really impressed me is VICTOR’s professionality and dedication. Also, their trust and accompany makes me feel like home. That’s why I choose to join VICTOR,” said Lee.

Well-known for his aggressive playing style, explosive power, and backhand smash, Lee has been fighting his way to the top since he won his first title at the Poland International in 2017. At the 2021 All England Open Badminton Championships, Lee defeated Kento Momota and Viktor Axelsen, the world's top two men’s singles players, and won his first Super 1000 title. The outstanding performance in both attack and defense has made the 24-year-old player a shining star on the international badminton scene. At the 2022 Badminton Asia Team Championships, Lee led Malaysia to clinch their first men's team title in the history.

Lee will be using his All England Champion equipment again with THRUSTER RYUGA and S82 from the German Open. Let’s go, Lee!
